Hmm. That's odd. Especially since Compaq lists this model as certified
for Linux (whatever that means). OTOH looking at the technical specs
i can not find Linux in the list of supported OS. Together with the
impressive list of monitoring and hot-plug features (especially that
bit about "off-line backup processor capability") this suggests to me
that Compaq might have used custom hardware. Did you contact Compaq?
