in the kernel tree there is a nice subdirectory, full of surprizes -
Documentation/DocBook. If you have Red Hat 6.2 (or if you manually
correctly install jade, DSSL etc) you will be able to build the docs which
are there - try 'make psdocs' in the top directory.
