And this seems to be a problem... I've got an one-processor Alpha system
(NoName) and building RTC as a module makes it unuseable: timer (normally
on IRQ0) is set to IRQ8 then. But with an used IRQ8, the RTC module
refuses to load;( For now, I'm patching each 2.3.x build in
./include/asm/hw_irq.h to leave timer on IRQ0 and RTC on IRQ8 _because_
w/o loaded RTC module the machins starts up in 205[0-9];( I think on
UP machines the old IRQ scheme shouldn't be touched. On SMP Alphas, you
may reorder everything;)
