Compile error on 2.3.47-4 to -6

On devel kernels 2.3.47-4 through 2.3.47-6, I get the following message
when compiling:

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2

and it just stops there.
