When running lilo on 2.3.40 semp and 2.3.41 smp I get the following oops
thrown at me. The lilo process then gets stuck in D state.

Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address c6c2bbf4

Unfortunately, I lost my system.map file in the process, so I skipped
the usual ksymoops routine. Hopefully the above will already trigger
some enlighted neurons about what might be going on.
