Hgafb v0.1.3 for kernel version 2.3.40 is available at:

Features and changes:
- rewritten to take advantages of the new fb_info structure
- shows a nice boot logo
- shows an other logo if compiled as module
(it can be disabled: 'insmod hgafb nologo=1')
- supports boot time font selection with kernel parameter:
'video=hga:font:{fontname}'
or if complied as module: 'insmod hgafb font={fontname}'
- supports run-time font selection with 'setfont'
- provides console size up to 90x58 chars (with font size 8x6)
- using virtual resolution (up to 720x364) and display
panning is possible
- provides scrollback feature (the only way to use scrollback
on Hercules cards AFAIK)
- can be used as a secondary display adapter
