International Crypto Patch / Loopback Encryption to Raw Partition

Hi,

Are there any limits to the size of a partition which can be used for
the real storage of a loopback encrypted filesystem? I've already run
into the 2GB file size limit, but I believe that that is a filesystem
issue right?

Also, any ideas on conveniently backing up the raw partition?
