Hello -
I keep getting "attempt to access beyond end of device" messages in my
messages log. This has been around in all the 2.2.x kernels I've run, and
seems to only happen with aic7xxx cards. Since this happens on several
machines at our site, I am reluctant to dismiss it as a memory/cabling
problem.
I am willing to run some sort of a debug kernel if you give me one;
personally email me if this is the case.
All our machines are running 2.2.14; I have noticed the problem on
several machines running with aic7xxx cards; two of our machines have
Symbios cards in them, neither of which have shown this problem. All
machines here run IBM DRVS09V drives, even the symbios machines.
