ASUS K7M uses the VT82C686 southbridge (VIA MVP4). UDMA is not supported
for this chipset on the stock 2.2.x kernels. You will want to get andre's
latest ide patches from
http://www.us.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hedrick/
