since some month I am in creation of my own Internet Service
in Strasbourg. I am using a 2 MBit cable modem with DHCP.
My Servers running Dos622, WfW311 and WinNT40.
I have only one dynamic IP address and I am using the third
party "Dynamic DNS" provider TZO to associate a Domain Name
with the dynamic IP address.
My Router WAS WinNT 4.0 with WinRoute (Try-Out version).
Since 2 1/2 I have my FIRST Linux box (LRP) as router running
and it works quiet well.
Now I have some questions because I am newbie in Linux.
My Domain is 'michelle-is.com' and my first Host is 'www'
It works very well with the TZO service.
But I don't want to pay US$ 60 for every host.
I have BIND installed but I do not know, how to use it.
The DNS-HOWTO is a little bit to crappy.
I like to setup several hosts like 'www', 'ftp', 'mail',
'acc576'.
Then I need to have some other Domain Names too.
Must I register at TZO the Domain Name only ???
And I can do the rest (routing the Host Names to the
right internal IP address) ???

And then I don not find the following error:
I have 3 NIC's installed (cable modem, private net and
public net). I can get all services out of the Internet
from my Workstation (private net) but if I try to connect
my Web-Server (public net) they do not find the Server
http://www.michelle-is.com/. But If I try the URL
http://michelle-is.com/ it works.
WHY ???
Please can anyone help me ???
