IP Masq'ing

I'm tryim to set up Ip-Masq on my network here, I read that your
supposed to set the gateway of all the non-internet connected boxes to
the firewall? Correct? Well, When I do this, I cannot telnet to that
box, only after I set the gateway to the firewall. Whats the deal with
this?
