Not misleading but you definitely may want to be careful when configuring
those old cards in same comupter on one and the same frequency.
They might(but shouldnt) have very sensitive receivers and quite powerful
transmitters.

ALSO: on 2.2.7-ac2 (not ac1) there is small modules related bugfix.
AND it makes your question obsolete as it allows to insert the proc
interface and change parameters trough there.
