/proc/net in 2.2 vs 2.0 : aliasing handling differences ?

Hi,

I have noticed (under 2.2.6 with net-tools 1.52) that aliased
interfaces does not show up anymore as aliases (i.e. eth0:0) in the
routing table (/proc/net/route), but as eth0 (the physical interface it
is bound to). The aliasing still works, and ifconfig shows the correct
configuration with aliases information included.

Is the new route output a feature ? Where can I find aliases-related
routing information now ?

Thanks for any hint on that one.
