If you asked this question a couple years ago, I might understand, but I
recently downloaded from ftp.sendmail.org the latest 8.9.3 and walked
through the steps to install and it was quite easy. They only area of
complications I know of, out of the box, is if you are running multiple
domains, relay blocking, or masqing and even those are easy to resolve.
Perhaps you should give it a shot first...
