mail cc'ing for no reason

For whatever reason, when I am on the physical machine and I send mail
from root, the message gets cc'd to me. When I'm on a telnet session it
doesn't. Any reason why this would occur?
Also, just for the list's FYI, granitecanyon.com is great for free DNS
service. No this isn't a plug for them, just a recommendation for
anyone looking to use another nameserver for their domain name.
Thanks for any help with the preceding issue...

Chris
