domain name to my machine?

Here's the scenario...
I have a domain name that I'd like to point to my machine. Seems simple
enough, but I think I'm getting into things that I don't want to deal
with (DNS server administration). Am I on the right track or what?
Is there a service out there (minus the defunct ml2.org and ml.org
services) that will do this for free?
