My 2PCs lan is 192.168.0.x (precisely: Linux 192.168.0.245; NT 192.168.0.250)
When NT is connected, it connects to another NT Server (192.168.0.1) which
routes IP packets to Internet (via ISDN connection)
So Linux & NT are on the same network (192.168.0.0).
When NT is connected, its routing table is:
