Help, I can't mount a xenix partition(/dev/hdc1)

I have been looking everywhere for anyone that has done this.

Everytime I try 'mount -t sysv /dev/hdc1 /xenix'
or 'mount -t xenix /dev/hdc1 /xenix'

I get the following error

---
VFS: unable to read Xenix/SystemV/Coherent superblock on device 16:01
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc1
	or too many mounted filesystems.
---

I have recompiled the kernel to include fs type sysv, xenix, etc.... I have one partition currently mounted (ext2). Is there something else (maybe another module or patch) that I need to install?

Help.... Thanks in Advance.. Mike Ogden
