I asked Yahoo, and Im happy to say I got a clueful reply back same day. They
don't know why it should be occuring nor have they changed anything in
recent time.

So can folks seeing this get me the following

o Configuration Info
o Traceroute to yahoo (their firewall anyway)
o tcpdump of the event

any notes they think relevant. Im going to try and find a pattern to it. Then
I may be able to get enough info to figure a pattern
