About the MX, not sure about that one.

Subject: mail, sendmail, etc...
Hello Sirs,
I have 4 computers running linux 2.0.34 RedHat5.1 directly connected to the
Internet.
I set NIS on a server to share /home between the boxes with NFS. All the
users have the same /home directory ..
So far, it's OK.
... but what about mail and sendmail ?
Can i "export" via NFS the directory /var/spool/mail of the main server to
the others ?. All the users will be able to read their mail on every box....
i am not sure it's a good idea !
And if they want to send mail on the local network and/or Internet, do i
have to set a main SMTP/POP server or configure sendmail on each machine (to
use the command "mail", not only a navigator or another program) ? In this
case, the mail goes to the Internet but the addess of the sender is
user@host.domain.com
I don't know where to begin !
For the moment all the mail for Internet comes only if the adresse is :
user@host.domain.com not when the address is user@domain.com , althought i
have set a MX entry in my DNS, why ?
If someone can help me to begin...
Thank you,
Regards,
Vincent Schultz
