xterm?

Hi All,

After a kernel compiling, xterm does not work any more.
I did Xcongfigurator in the same way I had done on Red-hat 5.0.
With the previous kernel, startx still works well.

As I inserted "printk()"
,the consol is really busy deplaying the messages.
That's the only change.
Same kernel( 2.0.32), same hardware.

Do I need to do something on the kernel configuration( make xconfig)?
