I run a fair few quakeworld servers on this machine under 2.0.35, and all
works well. However, I want some of the whiz-bang features (like sane APIC) of
2.1.x -- Now, everything works, EXCEPT, after n minutes (where n is anywhere
from 1 to 60) the qwsv stops sending UDP data to all the clients out of the
ethX interfaces, whilst still working through localhost.
Wierd? Yes. You fix it by killing and restarting qwsv, and everything goes
off magically. The only thing I can think of is some new 'throttling' in the
kernel? AFAIK, the qwsv server doesn't do anything clever when it's sending
data, so it wouldn't be able to tell the difference between lo and eth[01].
Anyone got any Clues?
