Firstly my domain is "stockport.gov.uk"
Host name of server is "mail"

I now have both sendmail and ipop3d working (finally I hear you say) but =
if I send a mail from an external source without the "mail" work before =
my domain name I get an error from the sending mail server that reads.

554 MX list for stockport.gov.uk. points back to mail.stockport.gov.uk
554 <darren.pedley@stockport.gov.uk>... Local configuration error

If I include the mail everything works fine. Can anybody help me? =
