My problem is on the win95 box's when clicking on the network
neighbourhood I can see the linux machine and when I go into it I can see
all the files in my home directory. But if I try to move any of the files
or enter a directory it tells me that the file or directory doesn't exist.
I had this working a few weeks ago but all of a sudden it's gone all
wonkey on me and I really don't want to have to reinstall the operating
system.
What I've done:
-Run testparm and the /etc/smb.conf file is fine.
-My Ethernet is set up fine, all 3 machines can ping outside of my network
and DNS resolves.
-I can map the drives on the windows machines.
-I can also log into another friends smb server and see everything fine.
-smbclient -L sambahost gives me a proper readout w/workgroup list
-nmblookup -B sambahost __SAMBA__ seems to work fine.
I can easily supply any files of command readouts if anyone would like to
help with this problem...
Thanks
