ICMP: failed checksum

I am noticing in my Linux Slackware 2.0.29 message log a regular
number of kernel: ICMP: failed checksum from w.x.y.z and it is always
the same IP. Is this something that I should be concerned with? Is it
someone trying to hack into my system.
