The cards themselves seem to work ok, however the current Linux
driver (tulip.c) does have problems with them

- medium selection doesn't work as it should (see for example my patch
in this mailing list)
- There seems to be gross latencies as well as duplicate packets
My measurements were: two MX98713 cards back to back in
100MBit/s mode 3ms latency, whereas a NE2000 clone (ISA) and a 3C509
in 10MBit/s mode on the same PC's less than 1ms.
Needless to say NFS performance sucked.
