I had almost the same problem, except it was with another e100b connected
via crossover cable (yes the wiring was correct).
The problem i had was a similar number of overruns (in the 10's of
thousands though)
I was using kernel 2.0.33, and i was connecting a Win95 box to this
particular linux box.
