Damn, I thought that os2 was better than it is or just I dont
know how to do it...
begining:
A linux box acting as a gateway to internet in ip-masquerading
etc... with an intranet in 192.168.255.0 and 192.168.240.0
another linux box in the other subnet of the gateway...
2 os2 box: One is a warp 3.0 that does not care and the other is a
warp 4in the other sub-net of the gateway
Problem: couldnt make warp 4 setup the routing table to use the linux
box as the gateway... but could doit for the linux box(and is working
;-)
route in warp4 != route in linux
arp in warp4 != arp in linux
Does warp 4 need to be rebooted after a chage in the routing table?
like window$
In linux I know quite well how to set up the routing table... but in
warp4 couldnt do it..
The only solution was to change warp4 to be in the same net of the gateway
In that way it work..(after a shutdown of warp4 !?)
do you know how to setup the routing table of warp4 to use the gateway
in the other subnet?
Bye
Carlos Barros.
PS: I know it is an ugly IP's.
