I am setting the INN (Internet News) server (version 1.4) on a Linux 2.0.28
and is getting newsfeeds from my ISP successfully.
My problem is posting a news or article from a reader on Window95 using
netscape, the reader is on the same LAN as the News server and it can read
articles/newsgroups from the server *without* any problem. When the Window95
reader (client) attempted to post news an error window poped up;
"A News (NNTP) error occured"
"480 Transfer permission denied"
I have ensure that the news server file /usr/lib/news/nnrp.access has both
the Read and Post permissions setup.
On the server side when I sent ihave command I also got permission denied
as following;
# telnet news 119
ihave
480 Transfer permission denied
Any suggestion will be helpful and is much appreciated.
