Tcpdump for SLIP

Hello,

I tried to install tcpdump 3.3 for my linux 2.0.24 rnning
machine. It does compile and work fine for PPP, however when I tried to
run tcpdump for SLIP it gives me an error. It turns out that an
variable has to be defined/set in the Makefile to make tcpdump compile
under SLIP. However, after several tries, tcpdump still doesn't work
under SLIP.

Please help. TIA.
