Class C routing?

Hi all. I happen to catch part of a conversation, and hoped someone could
fill in the details for me. I suppose this may be more of a general
routing question. Hope its ok here.

Can someone explain to me any problems with routing class C addresses
across the Internet? I understand it may not be possible to route class C
addresses, like you can with, say, a class B?
