Problem with windows client

Hello:
I am just subscibed to this list because I hope this will help me
deal a lot of problem and I am willing to help you all as I can to deal
with the problem with linux. I am right now working in the college as the
system admin.
I am currently running Linux 2.0.0 and I still have problem with
running windows to access the internet from the lan.
The problem is I canot use http from internet explore or netscape.
my server name is rs.mahidol.ac.th when I use http://rs.mahidol.ac.th it
show up my local web page but when I tried to get http://www.cnn.com or
anywhere outside of my server I canot go. Also we use the ppp connection
to the gateway. And I also setup the primary nameserver for our server.
Anyone of us has this kind of experiences and could be out of it
and successfully take control over it. And if you think you could kind to
help solve this problem I would be very appriciate it very much
