Maybe I'm asking something stupid, <shrug> I don't know. But I'll try it
here.
I'm looking to set the timeout value for the "user open" phase of sendmail
delivering via smtp. This "phase" is seen via the "ps" command as
"sendmail: foobar.com: user open".
What I'm *actually* trying to do is flush my mail queue quickly via
something like:
sendmail -q -orinital=15s -orhelo=15s ... ...
But I can't seem to find a setting for that above described phase.
"-ormisc=15s" has no effect.
Can someone help me with this? Or am I misunderstanding sendmail and what
I'm trying to do won't work, period.
