Problems with setting up IP-address/rout

Hi all!

I have a problem - here's the scenario:

We have a leased line over PPP to our ISP, and the PPP part works just fine,
I can easily utilize any net programs over the internet from the Linux box
(which functions as a gateway, or - more accurately - is supposed to function
as one).

But I would like to use this computer as a router as well, and I've been
assigned 32 IP addresses for this purpose, to assign to all the computers on
our network, including the Linux box. Ofcourse, I would like to assign an IP
address to the ethernet card in the Linux computer. Done that through
rc.inet1, set the subnet mask and the network number assigned by our ISP.
I've set the hostname to be glory.prio.no (prio.no is our assigned domain
name), and set the HOSTNAME='hostname' in rc.inet1.

I've not been assigned any broadcast address.

Upon startup, the computer reports the following errors:

modprobe : can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe : can't locate module net-pf-5

netmask : Host name lookup failure
SIOCADDRT : Network is unreachable - this error occurs twice in
succession.

I've set up the correct nameserver address in resolv.conf, as well as the
loopback. Do I need to set up anything else? Also - could the modprobe errors
be due to the fact that I might be lacking some parts in my OS? I'm running
off the Slackware 96 distribution, with a barebones A/N and part AP
installation. Do I need any other packages installed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
