That's all well and good, but Slackware (for example) has the
no_root_squash option disabled in the source (the option is ignored).
If you are a victim of this, you will have to get the source for nfsd
and recompile. You will also find that rlogind/rshd are similarly
crippled. I have really begun to understand why people bash
slackware... (This is all up to and including slackware
3.0....haven't looked at 3.1).
