CW F> Maybe I'm a fluke, but I'm running a Cyrix 6x86 running at
CW F> 120Mhz and have had NO complaints with Linux, Win 95 (with as little as I
CW F> use it). Not to mention flawless performance of Quake in both OS's. In
CW F> fact, I even run a small Quake server and it has done very well so far.
CW F> My Cyrix has given me far fewer headaches than my friends' P133 and P100.
CW F> I personally couldn't be more pleased with it.
I recognize hard cache errors to the 2nd level cache after several
hours of operation, this does not depend of the OS used.
The CPU slashes the whole syystem after 9-12 hours of operation.
This efect appeared on ASUS, Gigabyte and Chaintech boards.
But the time it runns, it works great and fast.
