As a number of people have pointed out, that should have been
"Correct, if you need them to talk to each other." Several IP
networks could share a single Ethernet, but any traffic between the
different networks would need to go through a router like traffic
between any other two nets.

In general, however, this is a pretty useless configuration. Split
the net and double your bandwidth.
