Linux 1.3.72 & PPP

I just recompile from 1.3.20 to 1.3.72 and now I can't get ppp to run properly. I compile the kernel whit IP Forwarding/Gating, IP Masq., IP Firewall, No Tunneling, with PPP "y" not "m".

Any Ideas.
