So use a pop3 daemon that allows people to have virtual hostnames on it. This
solves the problem nicely.

It is broken. Someone didnt include enough addresses. Its actually getting
very hard to get large blocks of addresses for static SLIP now. RIPE tend to
ask pointed questions about the need for them to be static. (RIPE are the
european internic for those wondering - faster, more polite and more
expensive ;)).
