People will invent names for their box if they don't have a real one.
Someone, I've no idea who but he dials in to a terminal server here in
town, has named his box paal.troll.no. How do I know? He has sent
mail from his box, and I'm postmaster for troll.no.

What I'm trying to say is, the internet's design is based in globally
unique IP addresses, and the design shouldn't be messed with unless
it's broken.
