explanation of TCPLoss counters

Hello!

I'm troubleshooting an application problem and finding that a
TCPLossUndo counter is being incremented when some errors occur.
Anyone have a pointer to a resource that explains this counter and
other TCPLoss related counters? The Linux MIB definition for this
isn't very helpful, and Google isn't helping me much either.
