Connections in FIN_WAIT1 state

hi,
I have a question about connections in a FIN_WAIT1 state, if  ack is
received then the connection moves to the FIN_WAIT2 state ... if no
ack is received what happens ? What is the state transition for the
connection in FIN_WAIT1 if no ack is received
