on 2.6.23 gentoo r3 is CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_SYNAPTICS deprecated?

Hi all,

Using: make xconfig . I can find it with the search but it is grayed
out. Couldn't find a dependency on it, it didn't show among the rest of
the mice drivers and non of the other mice drivers on the same location
were disabled.
