com20020-isa in Linux 2.4.5

Hello,

It seems that current com20020 driver in 2.4 is broken:
it doesnot recognize my com20020 isa adapter, while driver
from Linux 2.2 works with it perfectly (moreover, if I try to
"cat /proc/ioports" after "modprobe com20020-isa io=0x300 irq=7",
I get a kernel oops on 2.4.5).

Do you know any fix for this?
