I am facing some problems with routing and routing table. I am having
RedHat 6.2 -
1. As soon as I reboot I am not able to see the routing table. When I do
ifconfig eth0 down and then make it up I can see the routing table.
2. I am having an "adsl" interface and the situation gets more complex
when this interface is also present. I load the module, configure the ip
addr using ifconfig, add the route. After this the route command shows
two entries for adsl interface. I am not able to ping to a server
connected through adsl itf. When I do ifconfig eth0 down and then again
make it up the ping works.
None of the above problems appear on SuSE 6.4
