I do not think that you can do this with /etc/hosts. You will have to set
up DNS. hosts is searched in order and the first match is what is
given. But even then when you have multiple ips for the same name in your
zone files, bind 8 will automatically do round robin i.e the first time it
will give you the first ip the second time you ask it, the second, the
third time the third etc.
