You are asking advice on how to use some particular USERSPACE
APPLICATION. This forum is for Linux operating system networking
subsystem development topics. (And to a limited degree on how
to configure/operate parts of it.)
More appropriate forums for your questions are:
- your ISP's helpdesk ("where can I read USENET from?")
- http://www.netscape.com/ (helpfiles on the NS communicator)
- linux-newbie@vger.kernel.org
Possibly you need to consider other tools for news reading than
Netscape Communicator if you want to collect newsgroup items
into your own disk.
