I have run into a situation where I need to run ipsec client software
behind my linux ip-masq box. Unfortunately It my understanding that this
cannot be done because of ip check-sum problems due to the
Authentication Header (51) protocol. The software vendor is suggesting
that I chunk my beloved little linux box and replace it with a win98
(nasty!) box running a product called sybergen access server that will
magically route/nat ipsec. Someone please tell me there is a way around
this!
Best Regards
Phil Z.
PS specs on the sybergen stuff are at
